Ugens preview

Ovenpå pokalfinalen i Horsens i søndags er det nu blevet hverdag i DL igen og i den kommende weekend spilles der 4 kampe.

79ers headcoach, Nemanja Jovanovic kommer her med sit bud på de 4 kampe.

I will use this opportunity to congrats to DBBF for great organization of CUP finals on Sunday in Horsens.

Even with big loss to better team SISU, it was great to be part of great event with youth national teams and two big games. Also, congrats again to SISU for great game and new trophy.

After CUP finals we are going back to league matches. Upper part of the league will be very interesting until end as 4 teams are trying to get last 2 spots for “best 4 league”.

Aabyhøj IF - Hørsholm 79ers lørdag kl. 14:00

Aabyhoj is one of best structured teams in league and we respect them a lot. They play basketball that I like and they play very well on home court.

About us. Despite hard loss to SISU, team reacted on practices and showed great character again. With victory vs Aabyhøj IF away, we are sure to be in first 4 of the league and that is our only goal. Close and hard game with Horsholm victory.

Falcon – Lemvig Basket lørdag kl. 14:30

Lemvig had two totally different games after break. Winning Stevensgade at home, and losing Aabyhoj away, both games with big difference. So far no victory on away games from teams from upper part of the league.

Falcon game can be good start for that. After changing in team that Falcon had, they play better as team, and they share ball much more. Even not so strong individual as Lemvig they have their chances on home court. Can’t predict score.

Virum Vipers - Horsens BC lørdag kl. 14:30

This is small derby on other side of the table. It will be important game for both teams.

Virum has added new US player Ashley J. Boggs comparing the last game that they won vs Horsens. This should make difference in games like this. Horsens is still waiting for license of Ena Pehadzic that come back home from Italy. Virum wins with 10

Stevnsgade BBK – SISU lørdag kl. 15:00

Stevnsgade is trying to get rhythm after winter break and new players getting into the team.

SISU is coming with extra confidence after confirmation of their domination in CUP finals. It will be interesting to see ex SISU players Iben Soltau and Ida Preetzman vs their old teammates.

Can’t talk about point difference but I think SISU has advantage in this match.
